The members of the Rappahannock Healing Arts Center in Sperryville will round out complimentary health care options for our community with the inclusion of local acupuncturist, Sara Steed and certified Swedish and Deep Tissue massage therapist Barbara Rawlings.
Both independent practitioners have completed rigorous training and certification and begin serving our community with a variety of skills and experience.
Sara Steed will speak at the “First Friday Series” at the Rappahannock Library on Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. to introduce this ancient Oriental art of Acupuncture to the interested and curious. Ms. Steed completed her four year training at the Maryland Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Bethesda, concentrating in Acupuncture, taught by Asian teachers with a thorough knowledge of this healing art. She is a resident of Woodville and is excited about practicing locally.
