Arcadia coining
to The Theatre
Tom S. ippard’s play Arcadia is coming to The Theatre at Washington for two performances on Feb. 2 and 3.
Arcadia is the most brilliant and inventive play by Tbm Stoppard, who is himseif arguably the most brilliant and inventive of contemporary playwrights.
The setting of Arcadia is a magnificent room overlooking the garden of an English country estate during the 19th and 20th centuries. While the location remains constant, the action alternates back and forth among events occurring there during the two centuries.
Arcadia will be produced and performed at the Theatre at Washington, Virginia, by the Georgetown University’s Mask and Bauble Dramatic Society, which is now in its 150th season, on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 3 at 3 p.m. °
