Not restricting his running activities to just high school sports, he won the “18 and under” division of the annual Fodderstack race four years in a row and three of those four years won the Eva Smith award for the first male resident of the County to cross the finish line. He rounded out his sports activities by playing two years of varsity Basketball.
Thomas has a keen interest in pursuing his track and cross country interests in college and one day becoming a Marine Corps officer.
He is the son of Roy Thomas and Betty Thomas of Sperryville, and brother of the late Eric Thomas and the late Roy Thomas Jr.
