“It’s all about the ride ... about being out on the road. You can smell the freshly-cut grass in the summer and then the wood smoke in the fall. You don’t get that riding in a car.
“I was a sales manager in the automobile business for 20 years,” he said. “I’d much rather ride one of these than drive a car.”
And he’s certain that his location will prove a plus to his business.
“Everybody’s riding 211. Some folks rode all the way over here to buy a T-shirt, which was unbelievable. The motorcyclists are already here, and motorcyclists typically love motorcycle shops. I do — I stop at every one I see.”
