Since when did
Independence Day move to July 6 ? The liability did not seem to be a problem when the Fire Department was in charge of the Fourth of July celebration — it was a nice family celebration.
We had friends from Europe who plan their vacation to be here for the Fourth of July. I am sorry, but a picnic I can make in my yard and on the right date, which is a day off for everybody.
I hope Mayor Willis has good liability on his property in case of accidents?
I suggest the Town Council return the Fourth of July celebrations to the Fire Department, who seem better organized and qualified.
