Garden Workshops planned
Attracting Beneficial Insects: Learn how to garden with plants that create a self-regulating, pest balancing environment. Do away with sprays and hand-picking and have a more beautiful garden at the same time! A comprehensive list of beneficial insects and their host plants will be given to each participant. The date is June 8 from 9:30-11:30 a m. and the cost is $15.
The Integrative Garden: Working with some of the principles of Permaculture, Intensive Gardening and good design, team how to create a garden which includes plants for food, medicine, ornament and wildlife. Tour a multi-ecosystem garden and come away with plenty of inspiration and practical advice for your own gardening endeavors. Date is June 15 from 9:30-11:30 a m. and the cost is $15.

LFCC to offer Phys Ed course
An aerobic fitness class will be held on Monday and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:40 p.m. beginning June 17 until July 31 at the Washington School. This LFCC course will be a two credit course for Lord Fairfax Community College. The cost of the course will be $86.92
