annual RCES PTO Book Exchange. The children always love having the opportunity to ‘wade’ through volumes of books and ‘fish’ for just the perfect ones to take home. It is great fun to watch as the children ‘dive’ into this event. We are grateful to RCES parent Deborah Flournoy, and her assistant Sherry Hamill-Huff, for coordinating this project. The event made a ‘big splash’!

• There will be a Student Art Show at RCHS on Wednesday evening, June 5, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Commons Area. The public is invited to view and buy students’ work of art. We promise that you will be amazed by the creativity, innovation and talent displayed in each piece. If you have questions or would like to see some of the works in advance, please call Art teacher Joy Judd-Sours at 987-8575.

• Have a great week. Take time to do something fun with your children, and try to find humor in things around you.
