The Rappahannock Youth U-6 “ Traveling Blueberries” continue to impress onlookers with their enthusiasm and amazing speed. Shelby Thornhill is a real standout, sticking to the ball like gum on a shoe. Lauren Groves and Grace Lezcano play the ball to each other like true teammates.
Trey Swindler and Mimi White prove to be leading scorers, with a knack for finding the opening and penetrating the defense. Daniel Schlosser shows incredible ball handling skills, able to strip the ball from his opponents and send it back towards the Blueberry goal.
Coach Wagoner reports she is pleased with the progress of the team. “I don’t think the parents really know what they are in for playing against this team,” she commented, referring to the
