vendors, crafts or food was very educational in culture for the whole family. The bicycle parade was the highlight for my children. I guess my grandchild won’t see it — never less be in it or see the Arabian horses on Avon Hill lawn or the concerts of different music.
Without talking about our stores who had more business — the 4-H, the Fire Department, or the Library book sale — what is happening to all that? Or will it be at the picnic too?
I’m a local resident for 30 years and have never missed a Fourth of July here — except this year, if nothing is changed. What a shame for our town.
