Odd behavior by a Marshall man driving around Washington. Va. in the vicinity of the Rappahannock Jail led to his apprehension and arrest for HIT late in the evening of Mav 2.3.

Sheriff’s Office personnel noticed Jason P. Haley, 23, driving slowly around the streets near the jail at around 11 p.m.. and when Deputy Welch stopped him. it was determined that Haley was DUI.

"We are concerned when people hang around the jail, because they may be trying to get contraband inside,” noted Sheriff Larry Sherertz.

Halev was taken before a magistrate in Warren ton, and subsequently jailed there.
