Lewis C. Riley Jr., 74, of Stephens City died Friday, May 17 at his residence.
Private services were conducted by the Rev. J. Edward Messick with military honors by VFW Post 2123.
Mr. Riley was born March 11, 1928 in Rappahannock County, son of the late Lewis C. Riley Sr. and Susie Ethel Colvin Riley.
He served with the Army Air Corps during World War II and was an Army veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was with the Winchester Police Department and a sergeant with the Frc 'rick County Sheriff’s Department.
He served as an enumerator for the U.S. Census Bureau and was night auditor for the Econo Lodge Motel in Winchester
Mr. Riley was a member of the American Legion Post 21, Disabled American Veterans Post 9, VFW Post 9646, Elks Lodge 867 and the Republican
