Photo courtesy of Kelly Settle Mrs. Aline Johnson, representing the Rappahannock County Public Schools and the Rappahannock County School Board proudly accepted a flag donated to the school on behalf of Clore/English Funeral Home of Culpeper and the family of the late Henry Magruder Keyser Jr. last Thursday. The flag was given in honor and memory of all service personnel, veterans and those who have given their lives for our freedom. Mrs. Johnson said, “This flag will proudly fly in their honor and we ask God to continue to bless America. We would like to thank the Rappahannock VFW Post 1150, Culpeper American Legion Post 330 and the Culpeper VFW Post 2524 for this generous donation to our school.” The commander of the Rappahannock VFW Post 1150, Lee Hitt spoke on behalf of his post with appreciation for the flag and what it represents to our school and community.
