Band Boosters plan

The Rappahannock Band Boosters will meet on Thursday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. in the RCHS Bandroom. Up for discussion will be the Band’s new marching at football games, the fund raising opportunities for 2002-03, changes in the high school and middle school band programs and the upcoming book day and band camp needs. All parents regardless of what grade your child is currently In are invited to attend.
Blessing of the
Vines celebration

' The 25th anniversary honoring the " Blessing of the Vines celebration will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. at Oasis Winery in Hume. The processional and blessing are free. The wine dinner will be $85 per person.
Oasis Winery will orchestrate Its annual processional through the vineyards with a blessing of the vines with holy water by Knighted Padre Skeris of the Holy Catholic Church prior to the annual harvest. This portion is co-sponsored by the Knights of the Vine.
