4-H Program Support Technician, Senior
The Rappahannock County 4-H Day Camp Program had over 115 people in attendance.
Every day, campers attended three classes ranging from Fishing to Nature and Cooking.
Campers got to experience different areas of the 4-H program under the talented leadership of wonderful adult volunteer and teen leaders.
Wanda and Sam Snead brought their llamas to camp to share with the Pet Care Class, and the entire camp had the opportunity to meet the llamas.
After a swim in the pool and lunch, the campers enjoyed afternoon programs which included a campfire sing a long, a puppet show, the retiring of the American Flag ceremony which taught the campers about the American Flag, and the ever popular carnival with face painting, balloon animals, throwing water balloons at your teen counselors, fortune telling, and pinata busting.
Through the support of the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office’s “Christmas ip July” program, a number of campers were given the opportunity to attend this camp that may have been unable to attend otherwise.
