Belated birthday wishes go out to a well known figure, Mr. Giles Miller of Culpeper, who celebrated his 99th birthday last week, having been bom in 1903, the same year as the Henry Ford car line was introduced and the Wright Brothers made their first flight.
Air Force Major Daniel Nickerson, a 1982 graduate of Granite Hills School in California, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nickerson live here in Boston is now Commander of the 805th Computer Systems Squadron at Scott Air Force Base in Bellesville, 111.
The public is invited to attend homecoming at Slate Mills Baptist Church on Sunday, Aug. 11 with Rev. Virgil Wilson of Culpeper as guest speaker for the morning worship service. Other ministers will preach for the revival services each evening at 7:30 through Wednesday.

Mrs. Margaret Buraker has returned to her home after a stay of nearly a week in University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
