results On Aug. 2, the Rappahannock Sheriffs Office in conjunction with the Virginia State Police carried out a helicopter search for illegal drugs and met with some success.
Sheriff Larry Sherertz said that the contraband had been confiscated. He added that the investigation was still ongoing and warrants had not yet been obtained.
Free dogwood
trees available Ten free white flowering dogwood trees will be given to each person who joins the National Arbor Day Foundation during August 2002. The free trees are part of the nonprofit Foundation's Trees for America campaign. The trees will be shipped postpaid at the right time for planting between Oct. 15 and Dec. 10 with enclosed planting instructions.
