Mr. Griffin was bora Oct. 7, 1948 in Arkansas, a son of Anpem Keener Griffin of DeJl^.Ajk. and the late Alton Jume$ (biffin. y Mr‘ Griffin was a retired vefeVpp’ of the United States Air Forpe, obtaining the rank of Master Sergeant. He was awarded numerous ribbons and. medals including Expert. Marksmanship Ribbon, both pistol and rifle, and the Air Forpe Good Conduct medal with sue oak leaf clusters.
He was also a member and dpapop of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Mary Young Griffin; one son, Nath.apial James; a step-son, Samuel Jeremiah Mazur Sniit)i of Phoenix, Ariz., and two" step-daughters, Jessica Fionk Mazur Smith or Woodvjlle and Kelli ClineAutrey(of Culpeper.
