railing for the interior of a contemporary home. The client had horses, and she wanted the railing to resemble horse fencing, be compatible with the contemporary feel of the house and conform to building code. The railing was a great success and has lead to other successes.
Three of his ornamental works can be seen in the town of Washington: the “candy cane” railings at the home of Barbara Stockton at the corner of Harris Hollow Road and Main Street wrere actually the first of his ornamental projects; the sign at the Inn at Little Washington’s Gift Shop; and, of course, the fencing at the Episcopal Church.
Most of his work is in iron, but he also fabricates and repairs in aluminum, stainless steel, and cast iron.
