Heddleston, combined the instructional and activity oriented elements of the other classes.
Children sang some fun and energetic songs that were easy to learn, so they caught onto them (and added movements) quickly. Various Bible stories conveyed messages about the Golden Rule, God’s creation and loving one’s neighbor.
Throughout the week the students had a wonderful time, and the mission became a learning experience for both leaders and students. “It was a great experience, and several of the youth said they wanted to return next year,” Joy Heddleston said. “I guess we’ll have to see where God leads us.”
