Tobacco Prevention Coordinator

Loudoun County Government

Develops and implements a grand funded tobacco use prevention program for youth and ensures that all requirements for the grant are met. Program includes a science based health education curriculum for school age children, teen tobacco awareness, and prevention projects. Completes all budget and documentation requirements. Ensures effective program evaluation procedures are designed and implemented. Provides oversight of data collection and delivers data to contract evaluator. Promotes tobacco use prevention through interagency groups and community collaborations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree with major study in health science education, social work, or other human services field with an emphasis on youth, and six months experience including some program management.
