which she incorporated into her vocal teaching. That, combined with her own innate musicality, changed many lives and voices.
In the early 90s she started her own band, Freyda and Acoustic Attitude that recorded one album for the Red House label.
In the mid 90s, she moved to Philadelphia and then a few years later to the San Francisco area where she continued to teach and conduct workshops at festivals throughout the country. Always inspired by the community of song, she began directing choirs and traveling to Cuba and South Africa to study the choral traditions of those countries.
This past Christmas, after almost 15 years apart, she got back together with Trapezoid band mates, Paul Reisler and Lorraine Duisit for a reunion tour with John McCutcheon. The magic was still there and so they decided to begin touring together again and had a number of concerts scheduled for the upcoming season.
