Norman family reunion
The annual Norman reunion will be held on Sunday, Aug. 31 at the Rappahannock Park on Route 211 in Washington.
All relatives and friends are invited to attend. Please bring a covered dish and a beverage. Plates, cups and plastic utensils will be provided. A picnic lunch will be served around 1 p.m. at the Pavilion “rain or shine.” Bring a chair in case you may need it.
Softball registration
Piedmont Softball Association, the Babe Ruth-affiliated fast pitch softball league based in Amissville, is conducting fall season registrations for all area girls born anytime in 1986 through 1997 (five years old through 16 years as of Jan. 1, 2003).
Registrations will be conducted Saturday,'Aug. 16 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 23 from 9 a.in. to 11 a.m. New registrations are $25 per player. Free Clinic open
The Rappahannock Free Clinic, a local branch of the Fauquier Free Clinic will be open on Aug. 20. It operates on the first, third and fifth Wednesday evenings of each month in the Rappahannock County Health Department in Washington. Beahm family reunion \
The Beahm family reunion honoring George Washington and Nancy Bolen Beahm will be held Sunday, Aug. 24 at the Rappahannock County Recreation Center in Washington.
