This week, my husband, Danny bought an unusual item on eBay that represents some Viewtown history. The item is a beautifully framed piece of metal that was a part of the World War I troop Transport “SS Leviathan.” This item belonged to a Pennsylvania soldier who sailed to France on the ship in 1917. Three known Viewtown men went to France during World War I on the “Leviathan.”
