Two volunteer judges were assigned to each county, some of whom were asked to judge entries from a county other than the one in which they lived if it was possible they might know a sixth-grader.
Doreen Jenkins and Frank Brown judged for Culpeper County; Fauquier’s entries were judged by Mariam Ferentinos and Elizabeth O’Neil; Faith Jenkins and Lisa Allen judged in Madison; Orange’s artwork was judged by Wistie Jobe and Bridget Buddenberg; and Dan Lewis and Cory Caulfield were judges for Rappahannock County.
