al months. Last week, Mark Jenkins of Flint Hill was bestowed with the highest honor a Boy Scout can receive. He is now an Eagle Scout, the first one in Rappahannock County since Skippy Giles became an Eagle Scout about four years ago. Julie Coon and Vincent Day of Venus Jones have recently released their very first CD, entitled “Somebody Like You.” The CD contains their original rock and roll music. They have been writing music and performing together since 1983. Other members of the group Venus Jones have come and gone, but Mrs. Coon and Mr. Day have always remained. Katherine Krebser of Huntly departed July 12 to participate in a six week exchange program to Switzerland as an International 4-H Youth Exchange ambassador. She will live with two host families during her time in Switzerland.
