Due to recent promotions and transfers, the Culpeper County Sheriffs Office has openings for persons interested in a challenging and rewarding career as a Deputy Sheriff. Applicants must be U S. citizen, 21 yrs old, NS graduate or GED, possess VA operator's license, communicate well orally and in writing, qualify with service issued weapons, pass medical exam. A complete background investigation will be conducted to include financial and driving histories. Starting annual salary of $31,000 plus uniform allowance, medical/insurancet/annual leave and holiday benefits. Salary incentives possible based on expenence/education/training.
