The Maples, as a young boy when he came to visit his grandmother, Virginia Mayes Campbell, who lived at Twinland, now the home of Mitzie Young on Mt. Salem Avenue.

Paulson was here with a group of friends who have known each other for 25 years and who belong to a gourmet club called PIGS (Peninsula International Gourmet Society). The group dined at the Inn at Little Washington. The last time Paulson stayed at Twinland, visiting his grandmother, was in 1978 and he dined at the Inn. The meal was $50 for four people back then, he said.
