As a veteran, I have watched
over the past three years as the Bush/Cheney administration has said it was helping veterans, while it was in fact cutting benefits not only for veterans of Vietnam and World War II, but also for the thousands of young men and women who are returning home from service in Afghanistan and Iraq with serious injuries that deserve care and treatment by the Veterans Administration.
