In the bottom of the fifth inning, Rappahannock pushed two more runs in on a pair of run scoring singles by Evan Espinola and John Lezcano. NEA fought back to tie the score in the top of the sixth inning. NEA then brought in the staff ace to pitch the final inning. Matt Case singled, Conner Miller drew a walk, and Coy Ferrell was hit by a pitch to load the bases with two outs. This brought Evan Espinola to the plate. Evan hit a hard line drive that handcuffed the first baseman and drove in the final run for the victory.
