The Windmore Foundation for the Arts’ children’s theatre production of “The Ugly Duckling” will have a rehearsal on Monday, July 26 at 10 a m. in the Culpeper Middle School. Children in our area are reminded of the date and come prepared to read, sing or dance. The performance will take place on Aug. 7 and 8. Time and place will be announced later.
Surrounding communities are being extended thanks on behalf of Dr. Wayne Thompson, who suffered a heart attack on July 9. After surgery in University of Virginia Hospital he is home now and in therapy for a six week period. Prayers are still coveted for him.
Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier attended a meeting in Verona Friday evening.
