GREATER

PARTICIPATION

As our society has become more depersonalized and more standardized, there has been a greater shift toward more personalized funeral rites. Dying is our most personal and irreversible act, and we want our loved ones and ourselves to be treated and remembered in ways that express and demonstrate respect for our uniqueness. To this end, surviving family members and friends of the deceased want and need to be involved as active participants in the funeral ceremony. Many traditional rites have been modified to include singing of songs, poetry readings, and the telling of special stories and experiences that were shared with the deceased. This greater personalization and participation creates a more meaningful experience.

Prearrangements allow your family members to know what your wishes are. At the MOSER FUNERAL HOME, 233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton, we are happy to discuss our various plans and services. Call us at 347-3431 to set up an appointment.

“To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die."
