Charles Middleton Settle, 77, of Flint Hill died Sept. 2 at Lynn Care Center in Front 1 Royal.
He was bom Oct. 7, 1926 i in Rappahannock County, son ' of the late Wade and Emma Settle.
He was a U.S. Army veter- 1 an and retired as a bricklayer and farmer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman in his earlier years and he loved the outdoors. His love for the outdoors was second to that of his family.
Mr. Settle was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Reba A. Settle, and three brothers, Cleveland A. Settle, Wade Settle, Jr. and Warren E. Settle.
