Plant medicine

A program on Native American plant medicine will be held Sept. 24 at Hearthstone School at 3:45 p.m. Henry Niese, who is an artist, teacher, sundancer and founder of Eagle Voice Center will be part of the event. Tax-deductible donations are welcome to benefit Hearthstone School and the Piedmont Environmental Council-Rappahannock Office. For more information call Cindy Lockridge, 987-9441.

Board meeting

An RCCA Board Meeting will be held Sunday, Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. at the library. Board members and the public are welcome.

RCHS reunion

The RCHS Class of 1979 invites all classmates and friends of the class to its 25 year reunion to be held Saturday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Belle Meade Schoolhouse on Rt. 231. Golf tournament

The RCSSA is sponsoring the annual Panther Classic golf tournament Oct. 16 at the Bowling Green golf course. Shotgun start tee time is 9 a.m. Entry fee is $75 per golfer, and the format is four person captain's choice. Lunch will be provided. Look for sign-up sheets at businesses around the county.
