The Wakefield boys varsity soccer season opener Sept. 9 was postponed and rescheduled for Oct. 6 at Seton at 4 p.m
The RCHS freshman football game at Madison County Sept. 8 was rained out and rescheduled for Sept. 27.
The Wakefield girls varsity volleyball team started its season off with a win Sept. 9, defeating Quanitco three games to none (25-23, 25-23, 25-15). The Wakefield junior varsity won 2-0 (29-27, 25-21).
The RCHS junior varsity volleyball team defeated Luray, 2-0 (25-10, 28-13) on Sept. 7, and Page County, 2-1 (17-25, 25-19,15-11) on Sept. 9.
