We want to remind everyone that the annual Fall Festival at Forest Grove School is fast approaching. On Oct. 9, we plan to have a huge display of photographs representing Rappahannock life from years past. Last year we had over 700 pictures spanning the years between 1930 and 1965. We project we will have over 1,000 this year.
A diverse display of Rappahannock County historical artifacts will also be on display. This exhibit will also include a collection of WW1 80th Division (The Blue Ridge Division) memorabilia. Several neighborhood men served in this outfit during the first world war. Food will be served and the Kings Travelers gospel band will provide the music.
