Over 200 parents and friends of Wakefield Country Day School gathered on April 23 to attend the school’s Sixth Annual Spring Auction and Dinner.
Funds raised at this successful event will help finance the WCDS Scholarship and Aid program.
Among the 300 various itqpis offered at auction were original artwork from local artists, a hand-pieced jquilt by Jane Heile, an oriental rug from R.H. Ballard, dinner for two at the Inn at Little Washington, and overnight stays at several leading B&Bs in the county, including the Middleton Inn, the Gay Street Inn, Fairlea Farm, and Heritage House.
As always, the most popular items were student works of art and class baskets.
