As for members of the Board of Supervisors, the chairman in each location receives more than the other members. In Fauquier County, the chairman receives $27,500 annually, while the low end of the spectrum falls in Rappahannock County where chairman Charles K. “Pete” Estes receives $4,800 annually for his services.
For the remaining localities, Culpeper County’s chairman is paid $9,600 while Page County’s chair earns $7,200 and in Warren County the annual amount is $7,000 for all members of the Board of Supervisors.
In Fauquier County, the vice chairman’s pay is also differentiated from the other board members at $25,500 while the remaining members receive $23,500.
Culpeper’s members receive $8,400, Page County’s members earn $5,500 and Rappahannock County’s members are each paid $2,400.
Planning Commission members in Rappahannock County are paid $25 per month if the commission meets, nothing is paid if there is not a monthly meeting.
Once again, Fauquier County tops the list for salaries with their Planning Commission Chairman earning $16,400, the vice-chair earns $15,300 and all other members receiving $14,000.
