Charlotte M. Scott

Amissville resident

Charlotte Mary Scott, 74, of Amissville, died on Sunday, May 1, at residence.

She was bom on March 28, 1931 in Stevensville, Md. a daughter of William Richard Roe Sr. and Mamie Elizabeth Thomas Roe.

Mrs. Scott was a longtime dispatcher for Amissville Fire and Rescue.

She is survived by five children; William Robert, and wife Margaret Scott of Culpeper, James Richard and wife, Carolyn Scott of Rochelle, Sharon Lee Scott, Sheila Marie and husband, Thomas Walter, and Patricia Lynn Martin, all of Amissville.

Additional survivors include two sisters; Virginia Roe of Graysonville, Md. and Barbara Jump, of Centreville, Md. and Charles Roe, of Denton, Md., 11 grandchildren; Michelle Hoffman, Angela Gibson, Peter Gates, James Gates, James Travis Scott, Ashley Danielle Miller, Kevin William Martin, Beth Ann Martin, Thomas Walter III, Shannon East and Amanda Pullen, three great grandchildren; Shelby Greene, Brooke Gibson, Madison Greene and six step- great -grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Scoth.

Funeral Services was held on May 4 at Amissville United Methodist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

David Howard Foster of Sibley, La. died April 28.

Mr. Foster was bom Sept. 16, 1931 in Flint Hill, +o the late William Edward Foster and Gertrude Nichols Foster.
