He is survived by his wife, Bertha Corbin Foster of Sibley, La., three sons, Stevie Foster, Bemie Foster both from Front Royal and Mike Foster of Sibley, La., a daughter, Bobbie Jo Adams of Sibley, La.

Additional survivors include two brothers, William Edward Foster of Flint Hill and Paul Jack Foster of Chester Gap, a sister, Francis Short Spain of Luray, 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Foster was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas and Daniel Foster.

A funeral service was held at Bistineau Baptist Church with Rev. Everett Gies officiating. Interment was followed in Bistineau Cemetery.

A memorial service for friends and family will be held Friday, May 6 at 7 p.m. at Church of the Brethren Comer of 13th Street on Virginia Ave. Front Royal. The family is requesting no flowers.
