Likewise, Supervisor S. Bryant Lee of the Hampton District voiced concern of people within the county who are living on a fixed income and are not receiving an increase in pay such as the proposed pay increase of 5-percent for teachers in the school’s budget.
Members of the Board of Supervisors did commend Chappell for the preciseness of the budget proposal, saying that it was the easiest to read budget they the board could remember having to read from the School Board in the past.
