is also glad for the chance to attend LFCC. “I have already experienced a college atmosphere, where professors rely on you more heavily than in high school,” Blubaugh said. “It was a great opportunity and will help me transition to Marshall.”
Founded in 1970, Lord Fairfax Community College is a comprehensive, nonresidential, two-year public institution of higher education with campuses in Middletown and Fauquier and outreach sites throughout the College’s service region.
The service region includes the counties of Clarke, Fauquier, Frederick, Page, Rappahannock, Shenandoah, and Warren and the city of Winchester.
LFCC offers more than 75 degree and certificate programs in a wide variety of disciplines, in addition to workforce preparation programs for employees and employers.
As one of the fastest growing community colleges of its size in the country, LFCC serves over 7,500 credit students and more than 6,000 open enrollment and contract course students annually.
