Treasurer and Commissioner of the Revenue salaries among the five counties vary considerably with Rappahannock’s treasurer, Frances Foster and Commissioner of the Revenue, Beverly Atkins each earn $52,760.
Next in the scale would be Warren County’s treasurer at $63,792 and Commissioner of the Revenue, $69,725, then Page County’s treasurer and Commissioner of the Revenue at $69,725.
Culpeper County’s treasurer receives $88,971 while their Commissioner of the Revenue falls slightly lower at $82,817, while Fauquier’s positions earn $90,149.46 for both.
School boards
Page County is the only area who does not offer stipends to their School Board members and in Rappahannock County the amount is only $600 per year.
In Fauquier County, the chairman is paid $14,400, the vice-chairman $13,3000 and all other members earn $12,000.
As for Culpeper County, the chairman’s salary is $6,109 while members earn $4,909 and Warren County falls close behind with the chairman earning $4,600 and members $3,600.
