The Schmidts have resided in Rappahannock County since 1979 and have done architectural interior, food, product and portrait photography locally and throughout the United States.
While continuing in their magazine work and negotiating on their next books, the Schmidts are also working toward having a show of their photography at a Washington, D C. gallery.

“Victorian Kitchens & Baths” is the Schmidts’ third book, the other two being "PreFab Home”, the companion book to a Bob Villa television show and “Cabin Kitchens & Baths.” All were published by Gibbs Smith Publishing and are available at many bookstores nationally, on Amazon, com, on VictonanKitchensAndBaths com, and at Barnes & Noble.
