MIDDLETOWN, Va. - The Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) Educational Foundation Inc. recently received the first contribution of a $150,000 three-year pledge from an anonymous donor.
The contribution of $50,000 will be used to establish the LFCC Pace Setter Endowed Scholarship. The remaining $100,000 will be paid over the next two years.
“We are extremely grateful for this generous donation. By establishing an endowed scholarship the funds provided will assist LFCC students in perpetuity,” said John J. “Ski” Sygielski, LFCC president.
The LFCC Pace Setter Endowed Scholarship will be awarded annually to a full- or part-time LFCC student to be applied toward tuition, fees and books.
