Position requires thorough knowledge of theories, principles, practices and techniques of appraising real property; thorough knowledge of building construction practices; general knowledge of state laws and local ordinances relating to real property assessments; meet office production and quality standards; read and understand building constructions plans and specifications; navigate developed and undeveloped terrain; analyze factors which tend to influence the value of property and to exercise judgment in the determination of property values; organize information and communicate ideas clearly, concisely and effectively, orally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and general public. Requires any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in economics, finance, or business related field with major course work in real estate, economics or business supplemented by two years professional experience in reaj property appraisals or real property assessments. Prefer a Virginia Licensed (Certified) Residential Appraiser or a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. Valid dnver s license required. Closes; 08/28/05 06-022.
