We looked carefully to see if there were others, but there were none. My guess is he was about the size they get when mama runs them off to fend for themselves. He probably hasn’t gotten the hang of being on his own,yet, and is still checking things out.
Last week it was a cormorant; this week we have a bear in town. Flint Hill seems to be turning into a wildlife sanctuary.
Rolling rabbits
Linda and I have been watching a little rabbit in the yard for several weeks. We call him Racer Rabbit for the way he runs in and out of Linda’s flower bed. This week he showed us something new.
