Speed limit raised
A little reminder for all of us who travel on Route 29 to Albemarle, Greene, Madison, Culpeper, and Fauquier counties. The Virginia General Assembly mandated the speed limit increase under legislation earlier this year. Following a traffic study by the Virginia Department of Transportation, the law directed that the speed limit be raised to 60 miles per hour, where there is unlimited access, and multilane and divided highways.
