students will be housed at the Village with students from the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland. Other participating countries include Sri Lanka, Indonesia, South Africa, Ethiopia, Palestine, Israel, Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Serbia.
Preparations for the trip are being organized by Ms. Kitty Keller-Keyser, nursery and kindergarten teacher of Hearthstone School in Sperryville, who was invited to lead the delegation. Her husband, Joe Keyser, local contractor, has been assisting with organizational matters. Miranda Hope, RCHS drama instructor, “Next Step” Advisor and previous Hearthstone teacher, assisted the students in refreshing their knowledge of the game and instructed them in how to teach ultimate frisbee to 25- 30 teens. She has offered to lend her athletic equipment. Music producer Steve Van Dam assisted in writing an arrangement of the song they will be performing live.
