Annual Carnival
Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department will hold their annual parade and carnival starting on Wednesday, August 10 through Saturday, August 13. Lots of games, rides and food for all ages.

Thursday, August 11: The grand parade starting at 7 p.m., carnival rides and games.
Friday, ‘ August 12: Bluegrass . music by Brian Taylor and Anthony Clinedinst, also chicken dinners by the Sperryville Fire Department Auxiliary.
Saturday, August 13: Crowning of the Queen and Little Mister Fire Chief, also the grand prize drawing $1000. Come out and support the Fire Department.

Dressage Schooling
The Old Dominion Hounds Pony Club is organizing a series of Friday evening dressage schooling shows this summer at Windsor Lodge Farm, Flint Hill , August 12. The show will run from 4 p.m." to dusk, with food available on the ' show grounds. Series championship to be awarded.
