Screening Programs

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board/Area Agency on Aging invites persons 60 years of age and older to participate in the following Health Promotion/ Screening Programs to be held at the Rappahannock Senior Nutrition Center.

August 8 with Barb Patton, RN with Culpeper Regional Hospital-blood pressure checks and osteoporosis, August 9, Medicare Prescription Drug Program-Part , on August 22 Therapy Dogs both programs are with Mrs. Davis of Social Security Office and on August 25 with "Seasonal Affective Disorder" & Blood Pressure checks with Cheryll Green, RN with Senior Health Services.

August 10: Fauquier

County Civil War Round table meeting

The Fauquier County Civil War Round table will hold their monthly dinner meeting on Wednesday, August 10, at the Fauquier Springs Country Club. Mr. Jack Price will speak on “The Role of Native Americans during the Civil War.” Jack lives in Rappahannock and is the past president of the Blue Ridge Civil War Round table.
